Westlake, OH
– Hyland Software, Inc., maker of OnBase, is pleased to announce
support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 in the upcoming release of
OnBase 9.0. Over the past several months, Hyland Software ‘s Quality
Assurance Team has been testing all OnBase 9.0 Web applications,
including the OnBase Web Server, to ensure they will function as
intended when accessed via Internet Explorer 8.
VERY IMPORTANT
At this time OnBase
versions 8.2 and prior do not support Internet Explorer 8. Microsoft
has posted an intention of deploying Internet Explorer 8 automatically
through Windows update as a high priority update. In order to prevent
an accidental IE 8 upgrade customers running OnBase 8.2 and prior
should download and implement the “Toolkit to Disable Automatic
Delivery of Internet Explorer 8” from Microsoft. Use of the toolkit
will prevent automatic installation of Internet Explorer 8 and allow
your OnBase 8.2 and earlier versions to perform as usual.
The toolkit is available here: Download
